The Blue Mountain League Hall of Fame annually presents the Scholar Athlete Award to a deserving high school graduate who excels in the classroom and also participates on his high school baseball team. In 2017 this award was named in memory of Robert Schuster for his long-standing dedication and commitment to the Blue Mountain League and our Hall of Fame. This award is open to all high school seniors in the Lehigh Valley area. The Blue Mountain League Hall of Fame has now awarded twenty scholarships to outstanding student-athletes who use the money to help defray the costs of a college education.
